Report data sets
A dataset in the Bold Reports® Angular Report Designer contains a query and a collection of fields that represent the data returned from the data source.
What is an embedded data set?
An embedded data set in the Bold Reports® Report Designer is specific to a report and stores the query used to process the report data. You can create an embedded data set using an embedded or shared data source, and you can add query parameters, filters, table relationships, and have the query string as expression.
What is a shared data set?
A shared data set is a dataset published on a Bold Reports® Report Server that you can add to a report in the Report Designer, like a shared data source. A shared data set lets you change a query in one place and reflect it in the reports that refer to it.
