Prerequisites to use the Bold Reports^® server on AWS

This section explains the requirements for using the Bold Reports^® server on the AWS portal.

1. AWS subscription with required privileges.

2. You need Bold Reports^® Enterprise Edition. Please ensure you have the appropriate license and download the build by following the instructions provided in this help link.

3. Microsoft Remote Desktop must be installed on your computer. This is necessary to sign in to the Virtual Machine (VM) where the Bold Reports^® Server is installed. Note that Remote Desktop comes pre-installed on Windows-based operating systems.

NOTE: If you are using a Mac, the Remote Desktop client can be installed from the Microsoft Remote Desktop client page. For Linux users, rdesktop can be utilized to connect to your EC2 instance running Microsoft Windows.
