How can I improve performance and handle large amounts of data with Report Viewer?

To handle large amounts of data in the Bold Reports® JavaScript Report Viewer, set EnableVirtualEvaluation and DisablePageSplitting in ReportViewerController.cs of the Web API Report Service. These settings help process the report with a smaller memory footprint.

To improve the loading performance, set CanGrow to true only for the textboxes in the report that need it. When CanGrow is set for textboxes in a report with a large amount of data, the Report Viewer takes time to measure the height and width of each textbox cell based on the data.
