Modify an embedded data source

You modify an embedded data source in the Bold Reports® Web Report Designer by choosing Edit from the data source context menu. The Edit Connection panel then lets you update the connection properties.

How do I edit an embedded data source?

You edit an embedded data source from the DATASOURCE panel of the Bold Reports® Web Report Designer with the following steps:

  1. Select the data source in the DATASOURCE panel that you want to edit.

  2. Click the highlighted icon shown in the previous image to open the Edit context menu of the selected data source.

  3. Choose the Edit option from the context menu to open the Edit Connection panel.

  4. After you modify the fields, click the Save button.
